Närke Table Hockey Cup

NÄRKE TABLE HOCKEY CUP 2023

We welcome all players to our tournament which is a level 3 ITHF tournament on the ITHF World Table Hockey Tour and on the SBHF Swedish Tour. Organizing club is Närke Bordshockey. This will be the 4:th edition of Närke Table Hockey Cup!

Venue:  Tullängsgymnasiet (School building, auditorium)
Tullängsgatan 7, Örebro, Sweden.

Entry fee: 200 SEK using digital payment Swish nr: 0734063434 or Cash payment 200 SEK at check in, before the tournament starts.

For Junior players the Entry fee is: 50 SEK

8:30 till 9:30 Check-in
9:40 Opening Ceremony
10:00 Qualification groups
12:00 Lunch
13:20 Final groups and placement groups.

16:00 Play Off

20:00 Award ceremony

NOTE/INFO regarding usage of CHALK.  The owner of the Venue FORBIDDENS the usage of Chalk/Magnesium in the form of CHALK POWDER or CHALK BLOCKS.  YOU CAN NOT USE THIS IN THE TOURNAMENT VENUE.  We suggests the participants to use liquid Chalk which is ok!!

Angående användande av KALK. Ägaren av lokalerna FÖRBJUDER användandet av KALK/Magnesium i pulverform eller kloss.  MAN FÅR INTE ANVÄNDA DET I LOKALERNA FÖR TÄVLINGEN.  Vi föreslår deltagarna att istället använda flytande magnesium/kalk vilket är tillåtet!

Parking is available adjacent to the school.

The venue is located: 15 min walk from Örebro Södra Station.
15 min walk from Örebro centrum.

City buses nr 5 and 6 from resecentrum stops in close proximity to the venue.

Where to eat: : Several restaurants in the area.
Mc donalds about 10 min away
Or Örebro centrum 15 min.

The venue/school is own by Örebro Kommun and smoking and alcohol is forbidden at the school area.

PLAYING SYSTEM for Qualification Groups is not set yet because it is depending on the number of participants

But typically if the tournament would have 60 participants we will play with 4 qualification groups

That would mean groups with 15, 15, 15, 15 players

Where players 1-7 advance to A-group(final-group), 8-11 advance to B-Group and 12-15 advance to C-Group

This is due to be updated.

PLAYING SYSTEM A-, B, C-groups and Playoff.

For final GROUP A the players bring the points from mutual matches in the qualifying groups. And only play against the players in A-group from other qualification groups.  Top-16 advance to Play-Off. The series will be played in best of 7 games.

For placement GROUP B the players do not bring any points from qualification groups. Format is round robin group where top-4 advance to play-off. The series will be played in best of 5 games.

For placement GROUP C the players do not bring any points from qualification groups. Format is round robin group where top-4 advance to play-off. The series will be played in best of 5 games.
