We will once again play at Strawberry QUALITY HOTEL GLOBE, right next to the GLOBE/AVICII ARENA

Swedish Masters is the oldest and one of the most prestigious tournaments on the ITHF World Tour (Level 2 Super Series) but also part of the Swedish Tour. International rules and regulations apply.

• Swedish players Pay with digital payment service Swish at check-in, before the tournament starts.
• All Non-Swedish players Pay with cash (EUR or SEK) at check-in, before the tournament starts. Norwegian players can use digital payment service Vipps

The registration fee is SEK 250/EUR 25 for seniors and SEK 150/EUR 15 for juniors/kids (born 2008 or later)
Swedish players must be licensed to play on the Swedish tour.

Last day to register was Feb 3.

LOCATION:
Quality Hotel Globe is located in the south part of Stockholm, right next to the Globe/Avicii Arena and the 3Arena (former Tele2 Arena).
The hotel's address is Arenaslingan 7, Johanneshov.
We play in a hall/conference room called Galaxen (located ABOVE the main entrance, on top of the escalators)

The nearest subway station (450m from the hotel) is Globen located just south of Stockholm City.
Take the green subway line T19 (southbound towards Hagsätra if you are coming from Stockholm City center).
From T-Centralen (where the Masters 2023/2024 venue Waterfront  is located, and all subway lines + national train network + airport buses connect), it's a 10 minute ride (6 stations) to Globen Subway station.
The light railway Tvärbanan (operated by "SL", Stockholm's Local Public transport company, who also runs the subway) also stops at the Globen Station.

Info about Stockholm Public Transport: www.sl.se. It's easy to pay for your SL tickets by tapping your contactless payment card / phone when starting your trip.

If you fly to Arlanda (Stockholm's main airport), the fastest way (18 minutes) to get to Stockholm City is with the airport train Arlanda Express

PARKING: :
There are several parking lots in the area + indoor parking at the nearby Globen shopping mall.

Single room SEK 1295/night. Double room SEK 1495/night. Triple 1795. For larger rooms: contact the hotel.

The hotel has reserved a number of rooms for us but make sure you book accommodation in time.

LUNCH: There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

KIOSK: There is a kiosk in the hotel reception, one floor down with the escalator from where we play. You pay with credit/debit card only. No cash. There are also several food stores, cafes and similar in the next door shopping mall.

PRELIMINARY TOURNAMENT FORMAT AND SCHEDULE:
8:00 Playing hall opens.
8:00-9:00 Check-in.
9:00 Check-in closes. Group seeding. Opening ceremony.
09:30 Tournament starts (30 minutes earlier than previous years!).
09:30-11:30 Qualification groups (10 groups).
Position 1-7 in each group qualify to Final groups (Div A).
Pos 8-9 to Div B, pos 10-11 to Div C, and so on.
~11:30-13:00 Lunch break.
~13:00-16:45 (including short break halfway):
● Final groups A (2 groups with 35 = 70 players in total).
Players bring results from mutual games in qualification groups.
16 players/group (32 in total) qualify for playoff A.
● Division B: 20 players. Division C: 20 players. And so on.
Players in divisions also bring results from mutual games in qualification groups. Except for the lowest division.
4 players per division to playoff (starts whenever players are ready).
Best of 5. No bronze game.
~16:45-17:00 Short break incl. selecting games for playoffs.
~17:00-21:30 Playoff A, best of 7.
1/16-final (32 players), 1/8 and so on. Bronze game in A is best of 5.
~21:30 Prize ceremony.

Trophies to place 1-3 in Playoff A and winners of each division.
Medals to top 3 in each special category (based on placement in open tournament)
